CGQ BioR

The CGQ BioR is a sensor attached to the glass wall of the bioreactor and the biomass will be measured optically. As a user-friendly plug and play technology, the sensor is compatible with various types and scales of bioreactors. The CGQ BioR can be integrated into the latest generation of INFORS HT bioreactors, thus enabling new possibilities of bioprocess control.

Control based on results and real-time analysis

The eve® bioprocess platform software can seamlessly monitor growth kinetics in real time, document them, and compare them to those of earlier batches. These biomass data can be used for process control tasks in jobs such as generating feeding profiles or using growth curves as a basis for inducing protein product.

Ideal for a wide range of scientific applications

Directly comparing growth curves allows scientists to screen a variety of media and bacterial strains in detail, thereby optimizing bioprocess conditions and cell clones in very little time.

Make sense of your bioprocess

Creating a seamless record of biomass concentration allows you to detect bioprocess changes in real time.  This lets you identify limitations, inhibiting factors, and contamination a t an early stage. Reproducibility is increased due to a lower error rate when compared with manual biomass measurement.

A sensor for every need

Its two measurement modes allow the CGQ BioR to take exact measurements within an OD range of 0.5 to 500 with just one sensor.
