Ideal mixing

Viscous liquid? Solids? Because liquids and solids have different mixing properties, we offer you a selection of stirrers for the right stirring system no matter what the substrate.

Precise, gentle temperature control for sensitive, solids-containing media

By regulating the temperature of both the substrate and the double mantle, the two-fold system optimizes temperature control for the entire bioprocess. This prevents overheating along the interior vessel wall, keeping enzymatic activity high.

Analyzing the hydrolysis process

Recording motor torque in real time makes it possible to draw conclusions regarding viscosity and, in turn, the progress of solids fermentation. Whereas the viscosity of the solids-containing substrate is initially high, enzymatic hydrolysis will cause it to drop continuously until the medium is liquid. This, for instance, allows researchers to determine the optimum time for introducing the yeast and beginning fermentation.
