Labfors 5 phototrophic organisms
The high-end all-rounder for phototrophic organisms

Simulate the light intensity of any location on Earth

The warm white light offers the ideal daylight-like spectrum in the visible range, with a very high proportion of photosynthetically active light. The electronic dimming feature allows you to precisely adjust the light intensity up to a maximum of over 3000 µmol m-2s-1. And when combined with eve® bioprocess software, you can do more than just run on/off cycles—you can even simulate light intensity over the course of a day.

Proper light management begins with precise measurements

Don’t leave anything to chance. The light sensor allows you to measure precisely how much light your culture absorbs, making it extremely easy for you to regulate light for continuous luminostat or turbidostat processes. In addition, you can ensure a constant supply of light energy even with increasing cell numbers.

Monitoring CO2 concentration

Under the right conditions, phototrophic organisms can harness CO2 from the air for growth or product formation. That makes CO2 concentration an important parameter—one that can be monitored using the optional CO2 sensor. An ingenious gassing system gives users infinitely variable control of the CO2 concentration so that they can control growth.
