Labfors 5 for microorganisms

The Labfors 5 is ideally suited for cultivation of bacteria and yeasts. The bioreactor has a powerful motor, options for high oxygenation and a good cooling system. It can be equipped, if needed, with additional sensors or scales so that any feeding strategy can be carried out and very high cell counts can be easily achieved.

Automatic cleaning and sterilisation at the push of a button

At the push of a button, the LabCIP automatically cleans and sterilises the Labfors 5 bench-top bioreactor, for example over-night. The next day, your bioreactor is ready right away for your next microbial bioprocess. The throughput of experiments per bioreactor can be increased up to two-fold.

Excellent handling

A number of details make your bioreactor easier to use. The removable pump heads are especially practical, as these can be autoclaved right alongside the culture vessel and are immediately ready for reuse. And even better still: the touchscreen controller allows you to start up bioreactors simultaneously and calibrate up to six pH or pO2 sensors at the press of a button.
