Another Record-breaker - a new look and more success!

The recent ACHEMA 2009 exhibition in Germany was a great success for Infors HT with 40% more visitors coming to see us than at the ACHEMA 2006 (itself a record for numbers). A new look to the Infors HT stand, clearly defined areas based on applications plus a raft of new products and concepts all helped to generate a new level of interest in Swiss Quality!
Every ACHEMA is a chance for a company to put on it's best face for the whole world and find out if you are in tune with current thinking. The latest ACHEMA in Frankfurt provided convincing evidence that Infors HT has something special to offer for people with a professional interest in biotechnology. Visitor numbers showed an increase of more than 40%. This kept everyone busy explaining our new concepts and ideas from the beginning to the end of each day.
A new look was certainly part of the attraction for visitors. Each area of activity such as cell culture or fermentation was clearly labelled and the individual items of equipment grouped to reflect that theme. The "Infors HT orange" back wall certainly stood out and made us easy to spot from a distance. The red and white of the national flag was also in evidence to illustrate our message of "Swiss Quality".
The good things which make ACHEMA special were all there. It was a pleasure, as ever, to welcome our partners from across the world be they from our subsidiaries or our network of dealers. A lot of existing users of Infors HT equipment came to see us and we were also given a wonderful opportunity to introduce many new faces to the Infors HT way of cementing lasting relationships by co-operation and listening to our customers. Both existing and new contacts were introduced to the concepts which we believe will offer more capability and choice to laboratories in the future.
Cell culture was a particular theme for the ACHEMA and we are already preparing for the next opportunity to meet specialists in this area at the forthcoming ESACT meeting. If you were unable to see us in Frankfurt, it will be a pleasure to see you in Dublin.
