Product Description ShakerBag Option
Combined with the Multitron Cell, the ShakerBag Option facilitates the cultivation of mammalian, insect or plant cells in disposable bags with working volumes from 0.2 to 10 L in orbital incubator shakers.Up to 3 x 2 L, 2 x 10 L or 1 x 20 L disposable bags from different manufacturers can be used in parallel in a single Multitron unit.
Direct gassing of air or a gas mixture containing air/CO2 allows for customized supply of oxygen to the individual culture bags and stabilizes the pH value as well. The mobile Pt100 controls the optimal temperature of the culture.
Moreover, a pass-through on the side of the unit allows cables of measuring probes or gas lines to be guided into the incubation chamber.
