Key biofuel technologies include bioethanol, biogas and biodiesel. INFORS HT has over 45 years of experience as a leading supplier of both R&D and production-scale biotechnology equipment.

Proven applications include batches from 0.5 L to 300 L for biofuels or biogas from algae, plant material, biomass or solid phase cultivations. INFORS HT offers a range of bioreactors for environmental and specialised technologies. For variations to cover aerobic, anaerobic and thermophilic culture, special parameters and gassing options can readily be adapted to specific applications.

For applications involving solid substrates, INFORS HT also provides unique solutions with the capacity for 3 - 4 kg of solids or up to 7 L of liquids and slurries. The Terrafors-IS provides the added benefit of automatic steam sterilisation with controlled steam injection into the substrate to optimise water content.
